I want to understand how Newton's laws work in my Grade 12 textbook
Newton's First Law explains inertia — using the example of a passenger lurching forward when a car brakes suddenly. Newton's Second Law is applied in problems where you calculate acceleration from a known force and mass, or find tension in connected-object problems. Newton's Third Law appears in questions about rockets, collisions, and contact forces. All three laws must be stated in full for definition questions in the exam.
